Stimming in Public
Hannah Adira
Session Overview:
Stimming in public is complex and scary. You could have been taught at an early age not to do it in order to fit into the stereotypes of the world. This becomes painful and physically damaging. You could have had a meltdown or completely shut out the world.

About Your Presenter:
Hannah Adira
Hello, my name is Hannah Adira. I am 23 years old, and a senior in college. I am autistic, and have bipolar. I also have general and social anxiety, PTSD, Dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD.
I am currently studying environmental science and creative writing.
I am very big on advocacy, and routinely take part in training and meetings that address disability and services. My dream is to become an environmental advocate, and create a place that is safe for domestic violence survivors, those of minorities, and those with disabilities to be safe and get help.
